Abstract

The article presents the results of a scientometric analysis of the publication activity of the journal “Agrarian Science” for the period 2020–2025. The study is based on statistical data from the eLIBRARY.RU platform (RSCI) in the subject category “Agriculture and Forestry”. The dynamics of the journal’s ranking positions in reference groups are examined: the HAC List, the Unified State Register of Scientific Publications (USRSP), the White List, the RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index), and the SCIENCE INDEX. A steady positive dynamic has been established across all indicators. The journal advanced from 78th to 49th place in the HAC ranking, from 74th to 47th in the USRSP, from 67th to 47th in the RSCI, and from 76th to 48th in the White List. The two-year RSCI impact factor improved from 161st to 33rd place, and the RSCI Core impact factor from 93rd to 20th place. Identified patterns include a correlation between editorial staff changes and accelerated growth of scientometric indicators. Practical recommendations for the editorial board are formulated.
